Light Yagami

[Meet Lighto the Shinigami. Stare in awe at the mismatched skin on his body, appearing as if he were sewn together by a mad scientist. Of course, he's doing what he can to hide the changes, but it isn't working as well as he thought it would.]

A Shinigami, eh?  How creative.

[You can find Light sitting down on a bench outside, his brows drawn together in slight annoyance. On his lap, and next to him, are stacks of sheet music. There's a pile of blank sheet music to his left, and on his right is a pile of 'trash' sheet music (papers he found errors on). The ones on his lap are currently in use as he tries to get this written down as correctly as possible.]

I wonder what the point of the music is.... Perhaps some sort of meaning.

Any ideas?

[The radio flickers to life, and you can possibly hear heavy breathing and gunshots in the distance. When Light finally speaks, he's most obviously shaken and out of breath.]

Evade them the best you can. Don't fight back unless you've exhausted all other options. The best thing you can do, right now, is find a safe place, and then do not announce where you are over the radio.

I must admit that, while trying to understand this strange place, I've become rather curious about everyone's home world. I'm sure they've all got their differences, and I'd like to hear about them. If you wouldn't mind answering some questions for me:

- What's your home world called?
- What were some main events going on in your world before you came to Template?
- Are there intelligent beings other than humans populating your world? (E.G: Elves, Demons, talking animals, Shinigami)
- What about magic? Is it common?

While I am curious about everyone's home world, I'm also extremely curious about this one.  If you have any information regarding this city and it's past events, it'd be highly appreciated.

[Light is standing in the church, taking in his surroundings with narrowed almond eyes. A soft frown was touching his lips as the key in his hand jingled quietly. He couldn't figure out where he was, or how he'd gotten there. It was enough to let a tiny orb of panic burst inside of him, causing the frown to deepen.

This certainly was a flaw in his plan, wasn't it?]

This is ... unexpected, and rather perplexing. Just where am I?
